DrumTrack (DrumTrk)
Anyofthesong’strackscanbedefinedasDrumTrackssothattheirNoteeventsdonotget
transposedwhenatranspositionisappliedwhenusingthetrackasariffinasetup(see
Riffs on page 7‐48andTranspose/RootNote on page 7‐50.)Withtracksdesignatedasdrumtracks,
youcan
transposeawholesongthatisbeingusedasariff,butthedrumtrackswillcontinueto
playthecorrectsoundsthattheyplayedintheoriginalkey.Otherwise,thedrumsoundswould
changewitheachtransposition.
Usethecursorbuttonstoselectatracknumber.Youcanaccess8
tracksatonce,eithertracks1‐8
or9‐16.UsetheChan/Zonebuttonstotheleftofthedisplaytoselectoneofthetracks1‐8
(viewedinthetoprightcornerofthepage)inordertoaccesstracks1‐8,orselectoneofthe
tracks
9‐16toaccesstracks9‐16.Withthedesiredtracknumbersel ectedintheDrumTrkfield,
usetheAlphaWheelor‐/+buttonstotogglebetweenD,todesignatethetrackasadrumtrack,
or“‐”todesignatethetrackasanon‐drumtrack.
TheDrumTrksettings
donothaveanyeffectoneditsmadeontheTRACKpageintheSong
Editor.AnytracksdefinedasDrumTracksaretransposedwhenatranspositionisappliedto
thesetracksfromtheTRACKpage.
MIDI Destination (MidiDst)
TheMIDIdataoneachtrackhasadestinationassignmentselectablewiththeMidiDst
parameter.Therearefourpossibleindicators:
L=Local.Thetrack’sMIDIdatawillbetransmittedlocallyonly,tothePC3LE’sinternalsou nd
generator.Noneofthetrack’sMIDIdatawillbesenttotheUSBor
MIDIOutport.
M=MIDI.Thetrack’sMIDIdatawillbetransmittedonlytotheMIDIOut.
U=USBMIDI.Thetrack’sMIDIdatawillbetransmittedonlytotheUSBport.
