informationtoitsUSBorMIDIOutport.ThesesettingstosomeextentaffectthePC3LE’s
responsetoitsownkeyboardandcontrollers,buttheyprimarilyaffecttheresponsesofother
MIDIdevicesthatarereceiving
MIDIfromthePC3LEonthechannelspecifiedwiththeChannel
parameteronthispage.
Whenaprogramisselected,eitherinProgrammodeorinQuickAccessmode,allofthesettings
oftheMIDITransmitpageareineffect,exceptforChgSetups,whichonlyapplieswhenloading
a
setup.
Ifasetupisselected,inSetupmodeorinQuickAccessmode,allofthesettingsoftheMIDI
TransmitpageareineffectexceptforChannelandProgChang(seebelowfordetails.)
WhensendingMIDItotheUSBorMIDIoutportfromSongmode,Songmode
ignoresallofthe
settingsontheMIDITransmitpage.
Destination
TheDestinationparametertellsthePC3LEwhichportswillcarryMIDIinformation,and
determinesifthePC3LE’ssoundenginewillreceiveMIDIdata.Selectthedesireddestinationor
anycombinationofdestinationsdependingonyourneeds.Forexample,avalueofLocal
disablestheUSBandMIDIOutports.Usethis
settingwhenyouwanttoplaythePC3LE,but
nottosendanyMIDIinformationtootherMIDIinstruments(localcontrolonly.)Alternatively,
youwouldsetthisparametertoMIDIorUSB_MIDIifyouonlywantedtosendMIDIdatato
otherMIDIinstrumentsfromtheMIDIportorUSB
port,andnoMIDIdatawouldbesent
locallytothePC3LE’ssoundengine.AvalueofMIDI+LocalwouldsendMIDIdataonlytothe
MIDIoutportandthePC3LE’ssoundengine.
ForSetupmode,thisparameteractsasafinalfilterforwhichportswillsendMIDIinformation.
Forexample,ifthisparameterissettoMIDI_USB+MIDI,andasetupzonehasitsDestination
